What does my free quote include?

When you inquire about a free quote, we will arrange a time that suits you for us to view the area and discuss your vision for the space. Once we have done this you will promptly receive a detailed breakdown of the time required, material and labour estimates, as well as any relative information on any requirements or constraints your project may contain.

How often should we repaint the exterior of our home?

A good paint job can last anywhere from 5 to 15 years depending on the products used, the surfaces involved and exposure levels, Stucco and other renders last a little bit longer, while wooden surfaces tend to expand and contract, creating faster wear and tear on the paint film.

While it can be easy to make a decision on materials based at surface value, it is important to consider the maintenance requirements some substrates have. For example while that cedar wall will look awesome new, when it comes to stained timber you need to be prepared to commit to at least annual washes and re-applications to ensure your meeting manufacturers warranties and to prevent costly replacements.

While it might be tempting to go with a bold colour scheme or vibrant feature walls to grab the attention of potential buyers, we have found that more often than not this can lead to polarising opinions.
